JCI Recognises Outstanding Contribution

Conservation Volunteers Northern Ireland recently won the Belfast Junior Chamber of Commerce Civic and Community Contribution award (Environmental Contribution Award) for the contribution that our practical work has made.
This award is presented to “individuals or organisations that have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the environment and made a significant contribution to or shown leadership in environmental issues”.
Mark Blackburne, Chamber President said, “I am delighted at the quality of this year’s nominees and even more so that representatives of many of Northern Ireland’s most reputable organisations are here today to join in the celebrations – it truly is testimony to the fact that our awards our unique in recognising the many contributions of the unsung heroes of our local civic, social and economic communities.”
