Could you spare a few hours a week to volunteer?

17 January 2010

Volunteers working

Conservation Volunteers are looking for people who have a few days a week to spare to volunteer with us.

We are a charity involving people in practical projects to improve their environment. Working in partnership with a wide range of individuals and organisations we promote the support, development, training and practical involvement of individuals and groups.

Your role might include leading a team, computer work, outdoor conservation work or driving a minibus.

Previous experience of conservation/gardening work would be beneficial, but is not necessary. It would also be desirable that you have a minibus license but again that’s certainly not essential. If you fit certain criteria, we may put you through a minibus driving test.

All Volunteer Officers willing be entitled to some daily expenses.

We have offices in Belfast, Bangor, Coleraine, L/Derry and Fermanagh and we are looking for volunteers for all our offices.

If you are interested, please contact your local office for information.
