GRANT AID

Grant aid for tree planting is available from both the Department of the Environment and the Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service of the Department of Agriculture will pay grant on plantings of 0.2ha or over in extent. Special supplements are available where land is coming out of agriculture or the planting is creating a recreational resource with the support of the local community. The Forest Service offers grant aid for planting a wide range of native species.
