Owenroe GAC wanted to plant some trees to provide some shelter from the biting winds that often blow across their pitch. It just so happened, to prove a point, that the wind was blowing today!
Despite the cold, a number of young people from the club took time out from training to try exercise of a different kind. After the usual demonstration, they quickly embroiled themselves in the task and had the trees planted in no time.
Job done and they could get back to the pitch, satisfied with their work!
