Trees were planted on this site to form the basis of a future sensory garden. Volunteers from Mullaghmore and Castleview Community Association, along with local residents, the Leonard Cheshire Foundation Garden Club and Conservation Volunteers, helped on the day.
A mixture of Alder, Ash, Hazel and Downy Birch was planted – each tree being mulched with a biodegradeable mulch mat. The day was sunny and, after an early frost, everyone warmed to the task and completed the job in an hour or so!
