Laying Down Roots in Ballysally

At the end of the tree planting season, the Northern Ireland Tree Campaign helped the local community in Ballysally plant over 300 native trees along with 6000 wildflowers.
The trees and wildflowers will add to the long-term enhancement of the natural environment for local residents and provide improved habitats for our indigenous wildlife.
Children from Ballysally Primary School, Millburn Primary School, members of Ballysally Presbyterian Church and the local “Focus on Family” group all helped to plant the trees and wildflowers.
