Cave Hill Conservation Campaign have long been working to conserve and improve the habitats on Cave Hill. The campaign applied for Free Trees to try to recreate a small woodland on the hill in a field.
On a bright, sunny February morning, a dedicated group of tree planters warmed themselves under the sun’s rays and by exerting themselves digging holes! Each tree was planted with its very own mulch mat (to keep down the weeds) and protective tube (to keep away sharp teeth!).
