After our journey to Ballycastle, we were greeted by 6 enthusiastic and energetic pupils and their teacher from the environmental action team, eager to plant their hedge and some bigger trees to brighten up the school grounds.
The weather was a mixture of rain and sunshine but it didn’t stop the pupils from planting their trees.
The pupils were really fast and at the end we had a nice hedge of hazel, blackthorn and hawthorn. Bigger rowan and birch trees were planted, too.
