To help Arellian Nursery School create their ‘Fairy Forest’, Conservation Volunteers supplied trees and assistance to the children to bring their dream to reality.
A number of trees had already been planted in the grounds, but the nursery wanted a real woodland edge habitat, which is where the new trees were to be used.
Enthusiastic children – equally fascinated by worms and trees – dug holes for their new native trees and left for lunch with smiles on their faces!
