Vital funds raised

Thanks to the generosity of Clandeboye Estate, Conservation Volunteers hosted a musical evening in the James Frazer Room of the Courtyard on Friday 25th November.

Three brilliant bands gave of their time to help raise funds to support our work.

The McClean Family, who are a local, very talented family kicked the night off with some fantastic traditional music, followed by the much talented Kundalini Brothers, then the Wee Group played us out to midnight with a variety of tunes!

The evening was well supported by family and friends and through ballots, tombola and ticket sales we raised £600.

The following Wednesday, the 30th November, we held a small Gift Fair in Dendron Lodge and raised a further £100.  Gifts ranged from scarves to Christmas decorations and all was very reasonably priced!
